This Belgium Coin Ring is derived from an authentic late 1800s Belgium (Dates Vary/Same Design/Coin) 5 Francs Coin. This coin ring is a great statement piece to show your love and appreciation for Belgium! The effort I place in the ring is made to protect and transfer the details from the coin to the ring. I have personally achieved the coin ring using hand made methods which includes holing the coin, pressing the coin to achieve a cone shape. Then using a Swedish wrap in order to ensure a parallel line amongst the ring to avoid a cone shape ring. The coin ring is sanded and then polished to give a beautiful natural fit for its intended user.
Please note that the material used in this coin ring is made of the original material used in the coin (Silver). This ring is prepared and sealed with Protecta Clear to prevent any skin allergy or marks on skin. The coin is highly polished and will remain so during its duration if taken care of.

I love the concept of this ring made from an antique silver coin that has a lot of meaning for me. I asked it to fit my size US6.5 which it does but as this is a small size I think the writing on the coin seems to be compressed to fit that size. The writing and motto would be a bit more legible on a larger size ring(like a size 8 or larger). When I ordered, I thought this was a possibility but ordered anyway and am pleased with the outcome. The other features on the coin, like the crown, are nice and crisp. I like the fact the edge retains the texture of the original coin. This is a substantial ring and it fits perfectly.
